    Wow what an honor to be a backyard car hobbyist and my 51 Shoebox be chosen as Gary Howard's pick at the Lonestar Roundup. I was also asked to photoshoot my car for a feature in R&C magazine which they did there at the grounds on Sat. evening. I never in my wildest dreams would ever think one of my cars would be recognized like this. I am so humbled by the whole experience. "Agnes" (my car) did good on her maiden voyage to Austin and I couldn't be more proud of her.

    I met you at the "Hellions" parking lot on Saturday night, I have to say that out of all of the Kustoms yours was at the top of my list buddy. Great job keeping it cl***y, I have seen so many over done shoeboxes that it was nice seeing on done right.

    Your Shoebox was one of my favorites too.
    So clean, and love the '51s.
    Does that mean I have "Gary Howard" taste, on a rat rod budget? ;)

    One of my favorites of the show. Never cared much for the '51 grill but somehow you made it work so well that I can't imagine your car without it. How much chop and what's the power train?
