this is just me. i would have either taken the lip out of the bottom of the hood or made the grill opening follow it. or you could have just brought the hood down to the opening of the grill. that way you wouldnt have a brake in the body line. also round the corners.
BLOWN...I likey, and yea it doe's have a nice smiley face! i noticed it right off. but probably wouldn't have said so. and by the way, i think it look's great. man this wourld could use more SMILES! YES? brother the right paint will realy make a BIG differance. good luck my H.A.M.B. brother...POP.
thanks guys. I plan on rounding the hood corners before I do final body work. It was a cheap grille, about $70 bucks! Here is a more current pic. The only thing I have done since this pic is to install functional spotlights.
When I first saw it I thought it might look good with canted quads too. Here's my quick, and poorly done, version of what that might have looked like.
funny, I ordered my gaurds today before I saw this thread. looks great I cant wait to have my ride to sport some teeth soon too.
Thanks for the post man! And yer buddy's tech was great! Jeez, I was gonna pay $50 at the boneyard for a set of '50 Buick grille teeth that I woulda had to hack up to make a floating grille w teeth (and they were a little rusty). This looks great and the price is definitely right!
