Since my Dad is always fixing up my junk, I thought I'd try to fix up some junk for my father-in law. His '48 F5 has been sitting in the weeds for probably 5 years. It's a nice old truck. We got the brakes up today; drained out the old gas; and put in some fresh. There's life in it, but still suffering from neglect. Maybe we'll get to play more tomorrow?
Another day working on the '48 Ford. You can tell it was a low mileage truck that was stored inside, but it takes a lot of tinkering to undue the damage from sitting still. It's getting better, but not roadworthy yet.
