Your world changes with that phone call, for sure. There will be sad times as the memories flash through your head, but soon they will turn to fond ones as you think of what he meant to you and what he has instilled in your being. My condolences go out to you and your family.

I'm sorry to hear about that, sad news. I lost my father and my mother within 6 months of each other this past year. It's no fun at all. Stay strong and hang in there, you'll hurt, but you'll be allright.
my Pop's 82, he's still busting my chops. he can't live forever, and I know it. thinking about that rips me up inside. I'm awfully sorry to hear about yours. hang in there.

i lst my dad in 2000. i know whatcha going thruogh. my dad was my #1 friend, swap meet buddy, hot rod show mate. i was an olnly child so i took it really hard.

THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR SUPPORT IN THIS DIFFICULT TIME Just want to say a great big thank you too all of you who took the time to post messages here & also to those who sent PM's & e-mails. Its funny, I have only been here a few months & met a tiny percentage of fellow HAMB'ers, but I know now why I stick around & spend so much time here. Thanks to you all my 'HAMB Brothers & Sisters' We leave here Saturday morning for London. The UK Embassy has rushed my passport renewal through today & its on Fed-Ex overnight, so will be here in the morning. My friend Nik in the UK works for an airline, and thanks to him we are booked & paid for without ever calling a travel agent. Times like this you find out who your friends are. We are going to be away at least 10 days, bills, car payment & rent are all gonna have to wait till we get home....sure we will sort it out eventually!
