Last week my dad sent me pics from a Craigslist posting. I don't know much about the car yet, but he got it in the Seattle area. I guess it may have some Bonneville racing history, but I am not sure about any of it.

Please take a look and I will get you more details as soon as I get them. We are looking for any information on the car. And yes this is almost exactly how he found it.

  3. Kinda looks like one of those Mexican road race cars from the mid '50s, everthing looks real vintage but that looks like an alternator on there, I know they made some in that era but still looks out of place a little, car looks very cool and seems all it needs in a going through. good find.

    kool, got a alternator, interesting

  7. Grill looks like it could have been from a 1932 Graham. As for the alternator, it just means that someone has been using it in the last 10-15 years...and that's a good thing.

Barn find?!! Man it looks like it'd fire right up and go down the road. Nice!

  9. That is one of the most amazing things I have ever seen come out of a barn. Gorgeous.

Any idea when it was last roaming the streets? Some of the best history comes from the owner if they will take the time to share it...

  11. Nice find.
Can I ask what makes you say it is a Model A? Chassis is Chev or Essex. Body is custom.
That grille is a cut down '34 Pontiac.

  12. That is sweeeeeeeeeet !!! Congrats.

Cool, looks like a rally car or something, considering the side mount.

Cool find! Heck, that alternator could've been added over 40 years ago, since they started showing up in the mid-'60s.

Very cool. But, it doesn't strike me as a any kind of purpose built race car.

There is something sort of like that sitting behind my favorite bakery. Been sitting on a trailer back there for quite some time. Now I'm going to have to stop and look at it.
