    small update, just been messin with it. have my nos factory sized bias plys on it, roof rack and made an air cleaner fit with my varajet on there.

    i assume you have a relay for your overdrive. a publication i found very helpful in getting it working is "thunder road flathead guide" by bill sinclair. it'll show you different ways to get things going and how to use a mopar headlight relay. in my case (a '50 ford) the stock-appearing relay is over 125 bucks but a mopar headlight relay is less than 20!
