4 in. Chop Complete, suspension half way complete waiting on spindles, next is my engine options. I have a T-5 ****** I want to mount up to my straight six, but I do not know if I want to go with the straight six or the Desoto Firedom or FireFlite. Im not using a Chevy even though I have one laying around the garage. You guys have been a wealth of knowledge so far and every time I put something up I get very good responses and great ideas so here goes another. What freakin Hemi V8 will mount up to a T-5 with out much modifications or will I have to get an engine an ****** as a whole ***embly. Im new to the Mopar side of the house and I want to keep my car as much of a Mopar as it can be. Before anyone asks, I will post pics of the sedan chop when i get back from Iowa. Now let those ideas rip fellas..............
I am sure there is a company making adapters. <input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden">
I worked on a 48 ply woodie recently. rebuilt 6, 30 overbore, but stock. I had to rejet it, and it ran awesome. All it needed was an overdrive. It seemed like it had enough power for OD. The owner has a Ply coupe around that age, but with dual carbs, but I never had it here to drive. ask around here for the flat 6 Mopar builds, maybe they can help you decide.
Early Hemi (except the 51-53 331) as well as pre-62 A series all use the same adapter for those shiverlay parts. If you really want to keep it all Mopar then watch Pete's project thread for an AX15 swap: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=360864&highlight=lookey .
