Well it says you were at work. And you have your job listed as smart***, so i would guess you pissed someone off, But they should not do that to a car.
I don't believe that getting key'd happens without some level of provocation in some way. It would have to be pretty damn random for someone to just pick a beautiful car and take a whack at it. That said, whether I provoked you or not, I'm nowhere NEAR as patient as I was when I was younger and I can pretty much guarantee I'd need someone to stop me before I went too far these days. I used to be able to restrain myself to knowing when to stop smacking someone's head in the base of a door, but now I just don't know if I care enough about a piece of trash like that enough to care when I stopped. Tolerance diminishes with age it seems. I'm suppose to grow patience, but nobody ever said anything about tolerance.
So I'm comming out of an Elton John Show at Dodger Satdium and some ***wipe named Don carved his name in the hood of my 59 Coupe De Vill And He used my antenna to do this Don who the hell is Don I don't know anyone named Don
Tolerance is a ******** idea dreamed up by a bunch of fools. Look what tolerance has gotten us: Trash parents and trashier kids and trashier than that grandkids who don't know, don't care, and can't be taught. ESL, actually SFL(Spanish as a first language), lazy parents, lazy kids, lazy grandkids...see above. Two crashed and burned aircraft and fallen towers in NYC, bodies and airplanes in the Pentagon and a farmer's field. Wars where you can't fire unless fired upon (WTF, see above!). and on and on and on. Makes a little scratch in the paint sound insignificant, doesn't it? WELL, IT IS NOT! The s*** that do this stuff have taken their first steps toward a worthless and loveless and helpless life. A good beating as a reminder to use their heads for something besides a sideways hat rack wouldn't hurt a thing. DO you think they'd learn by a kiss and a hug? I think not.
That is exactly the reason why I would never go to an Elton John show. I don't want some dude's name carved in my hood. If I ever caught someone scratching some **** on one of my trucks, pretty damn good chance one us would end up getting hurt real bad. And if I didn't catch them, I would make a substantial effort trying to figure out who did it.

Elton John? maybe Don was pissed off if you were there with a girl friend insted of him... anyways, just messin with ya.. back on subject.. car keying in my experiance is a girl thing..not that some ***** imasculated male couldnt do this but, have you been ignoring some chicks come ons? or talk **** about some girl at your place of employment?..i would look into that. if its base clear, yer ****ed..all those fenders doors or what ever will have to be re shot, and matched..good luck with it.. if you find the ***hole or ***** who did this and have proof, send em the bill with an altimatum..either pay up or a distruction of property suit will be brought against them in court.

Don't know about the jealous part but would agree with the piece of **** part. If they called the Cops after they caught him I would ask WHY? Can't agree it's the parents fault. I rasied both of mine to respect others and do people right. It took with one, and the other is an ***hole felon that doesn't even show respect for his own family.
I had that happen to a friend of mine.They were at a Cadillac show in Pa.,went and had lunch after the show,saw some kid by her car.When she got closer,this pos keyed both of her '78 CdV's.One was restored pretty nicely and the other one was all original.Needless to say everyone was sick over that. Yah, what he said............Damned hippies!!! It's a quality of life thing in the city. I drive my stuff all the time and the disregard for other peoples property is astounding! I was at a national night out street party and found some woman had put her kid (standing on the seat) in my car and he was jumping up and down and yanking the gear shifter! A lot of it is not even deliberate, just completely self-centered. My work vehicle.(an 89 Cherokee) has been hit 3 times in the last 15 months by hit and runs. While driving, not parked. The cops won't even come out anymore, you have to go to the station and make a report. I'm going to go kick something now.............
I have read all the posts in this thread and I have to comment. Sue them? WTF!?!?! this is a BIG part of the problem with this country! Law suits. If he found them and sued them they could get a lawyer and drag it out so long it would no longer be worth it from a monetary standpoint. Same thing if you call the cops. They get a slap on the wrist for malicious mischief pay a fine and reparations to you IF they have it. If they dont have the $ then you end up waiting on some type of payment plan etc. **** THAT ****! There needs to be IMEDIATE repercusions for heinous acts such as this! IMEDIATE! Catch someone doing this and whip his ***! I think federal law should include the term "He had it coming!" Someone mentioned getting older and not being willing to control their temper anymore. I know why that is and can relate! When you get older you can usualy more readily afford BAIL! Oh yeah and the only way he could have brought this on himself by ******* someone off is if he had keyed their car! Nothing else would justify them keying his. Find 'em and whip 'em PERIOD!
i might have been the one to say bring a law suit against them..but im all for this type of justice..its just too bad that these days problems are not delt with swiftly and harshly enough. and that is more than likely the reason there are ***wipes out there that get away with this type of ****...public lynching..lets get it done
Something seriously wrong with a person who does that, for what ever reason. But in the past I've only heard about keying in relation to jealous or jilted lovers or stupid grudges. But if we can't stop the gang-related markings on buildings, trains, etc.... what's next, our cars? Our houses? After that? REALLY sorry to see such a nice car marked up. Gary
It's a symptom of a larger problem. Starting with the ever growing number of people with an over-developed sense of en***lement, and ending with the "self-perpetuating victim" bull ****. It seems the country is filling with more and more of the "owe me a living" types. Followed closely by the "it's not my fault I'm a lazy SOB." Well, I'm off to have a *** change and raise 20 ******* kids so I can get "paid".
If it was done by someone under 25, and it probably was, it was a female. I retired from a school district with 20,000 students and the reported 'incidents' in my time there involved females 80% of the time. The younger generation female has NO respect for property, especially cars. They see them as compe***ion and you know how they treat the "pretty" girl at school........... and cars, daddy will just buy me a new one. And for those who say "My daughter would never do that". You've never been around when she's with 4 or 5 others with NOTHING to do.
