    My goal is to build mine as close to the originals as possible. More of a road track car than a drag car. (Although I believe the original cars ran low 11's high 10's in the 1/4 anyway.) Bill Thomas utilized alot of Corvette components in these cars. So alot of those parts are relatively easy to come by. The frame on the other hand... I'm not fooling myself, I know I've got my work cut out for me. My Model A is kind of a like a 'warm up'. LOL

    Mmmmm,, Cheetah.. Very Nice.. That would look good in my garage.. I would kick every thing else out..

    I see a fantastic slice of drag car raw material with those Cheetahs. They have some very serious engine set-back and I'd love to know the front-to-rear weight bias figures.

    As a life long Chevy fan the Cheetahs were the answer to the enemy Cobra's. Totally impractical but brutally fast, I loved them. That body looks like it'll take a lot of work but you've already demonstrated the patience to stay with a dream. Never give up on it, that first ride will pay back your loyalty.

    congratulations! i can't say i ever remember seeing one of these. i love the looks of this one. wild hood scoops. crossram? how do the doors open? are they hinged on the roof? are you building a full custom frame or?? good luck on the build.
