Welp, I posted this on the banger thread, but thought some of you that never venture there may get a kick outta this. I fired this ol pig up for the first time last Thanksgiving day, and it leaked pretty bad out of the rear main. I fought and fought the bastard for a year, finally finding the problem- the babbit had seperated from the block, and oil was squeezing between it and out the back. So, new babbit job and a rear main seal kit for good measure. Didn't leak a drop!!!! Sounds excellent, I can't wait to get it in the Model A

Yeah, in the black model A. It was going to be the first thing I did to the car, but due to the leak it's ending up being the last

I've yet to pull the old one out and put the new in. I had some back issues this summer that prevented me from doing any lifting over 10lbs until about a month ago. I should get started on it soon though.

Yep, + ground. We have the ignition rigged to a 6V battery, but were firing the starter with a 12V because our 6V was a little too weak. The engine is really tight and needs broke in a little. We smoked that poor starter, too

 

Nice plug wires, Im running the same B mallory in my "A" banger that im building. sure wish i had a B anyways looking great man.
