These are two of them, coincidence that they are both taillights for me

    Indeed.

Without one, it is not a car!

For me, it’s the radio my dad put in the ‘57 PU, I know he had to have the dealer order the heater, but I don’t recall if it came with the radio, or he had it installed later. Will get a pic when back from town

I like the exposed hinges and door handles. In addition to previous mentioned taillights and grilles.

I've been a Chevy guy my entire life, never been fortunate enough to have had a complete original small block engine of any significance, such as an L79, a fuelie 283 or 327, factory 2x4 283, etc.
I built this 327/350 hp engine in the late 80's for our Nova, has many rare NOS parts, it has never been fired.
I will no doubt go to my grave thinking this is my most cherished possession.

Never hurts to have a fresh Muncie to go with it!

Did he also install the above windshield speaker? That was one of my favorite parts of my 59.

I sure don’t know. I recall he said he had the heater installed.
But! The p***enger side mirror, I recall the story. He measures up/down all around from the out side on the driver side. Marked the p***enger door, drilled it, well when he pulled the panel off to get nuts on the screws, the inside of the door was marked for the three holes. He said he missed all by a 1/2 hole.

I like that too. Kind of like a pair of 38 D's stuffed into a 36 bra. Something is going to bulge out somewhere!

I like the original parts of the interior saved. It saves the history and the soul of the car. 20221023_075859_resized[10942].jpg 20221023_075912_resized[10941].jpg
