I'm fresh back from Bonneville (1:00 this morning) and had a great time! The reason I ***led this thread "my first Bonneville trip" is because it won't be my last! Haven't really met many HAMBers in person before, but sure met a bunch on the salt! Scary Larry & friends, Hot Rod Lady Cruiser & friends, Old Crow crew, Mad Cad crew, etc. Everyone was friendly and hospitable, the way all hot rodders should be. Besides the great people, the place is amazing. You can almost feel the history as you drive out onto the salt for the first time. Look around a little and you'll see some too! Cars like the Tom Beatty belly tanker for example. Cool hot rods, and mechanical wonders of all sorts, are everywhere. It's a gearhead meca! Low budget run for fun teams, to cutting edge technology like the Hydrogen cars, it's all there. The only limit is how much you can soak up in a few days! It's truely an event that every hot rodder should experience. I got a new camera for the trip, and I got a bunch of great shots, but I have no clue how to post them. I'd be happy to share if someone wants to help walk me through it. I can't wait for next year! Al, aka Evil Clown
what do u need help with posting them? if you have a card reader, plug it up, or either plug the USB cable that came with it straight into the cam and into the comp. hit up photobucket.com and go to my computer and click you cam folder, then just upload the pics. links will be given, i think this forum uses the IMG tags. outside of that, all these bonneville threads have me a little hurt. i have been wanting to go for years. im jealous haha
