Damn thing just quit. No spark. Currently walking up the old country road to get a coil from my office. Figure I gotta 50/50 chance of fixing it with that.

    Wish me luck.

Dude...*****s to be you right now. Wish I was there though, sometimes break downs begat the best stories! Ever set your car on fire by the side of the road, in the dark, 80 miles from anywhere?!

first break down after driving it how many days on a regular basis? If I could afford the gas I would drive mine daily. I laugh thinking about how modern car's have all this computer controlled sensors and electronics that could keep them from working, and then laugh because people tow their modern vehicles if they can't get it to start. Us rodders just get a ride to the local parts store and buy a simple part and we are back on the road. Gotta love the "progress" modern car's have made.

Maybe we need to have a "glass" party for Ryan @**** & everyone could fly in/show up and replace the window. I hate to say it, but that would drive me nuts.

    Chris

Oh yea, I have a rope that I can tow you with if you need it?

You wouldn't last a day in texas. humidity was 86% yesterday here in the dallas area. but to get back on topic, what shop do you work for? I am not too familiar with you sir, just know you drive the poo out of that car.

OH........it was the car! I thought you were having your first "NERVOUS BREAKDOWN",hahahaha!
It could be worse.......you could be hearing a knocking sound!!!!!!

  23. Not sure on that year distributor, but later years had a wire under the advance plate that would short out or break off. Maybe look there if the other fixes don't work.
