You have made a lot of progress with your truck and seeing the photos remind me of my first project,,a 1930 Ford pickup,,30 years ago!

Looking good but I would rather be," one of those 350 in a Ford guys" (your words) than a OT pinto motor in any hot rod. Beer Keg ****s. Other wise Carry On.

The first guys who put overheads V8s in Model As probably took the same kind of flack for not using Bangers or Flat Heads in theirs.:)

I'm putting Mercruiser 3.7 litre 4 cylinder engines and T-5s in mine and like the idea of not having Ford or Chevy V8s with automatics in them.

They are very light and do not require 300 hp to make them fast.

The 4 cylinder engines and T-5s allow them to go fast enough get a ticket anywhere in this country.

I also like the idea of being able to dog it by using only 2nd, 3rd and 4th gear around town to **** people in then be able to downshift and wail away when I want to let them know that this Model A moves.

Reliability is also a nice benefit of modest hp.

Things don't break as easily that way.

Build it your way and drive it a lot.

Keep us posted on your neat Project.

Great looking truck........... The motor combo is going to make it a great driver...... Don't worry about the ******** about the gas tank or the hood, you will have a nice hotrod and you built it...... be proud of it and drive the wheels off of it when you get it going...... HR33
