    anyone else got any pics with a peddle car??

    this one was bought by my grandfather on the "black market used" shortly before the war was over. Couldnt get new because of the metal for the war effort

  9. My son and his ride....My parents were struggling with us four kids...so we got to beat the hell out of the neighbors ride!

    Hey Bud..........I figured you'd come up with one also......those were the days......My Grandma tied a coffe can on mine and punched a hole in the bottom,then filled it with water,,,,,,,that was my "gas" ..when the water had all dribbled out i would peddle back and get a "fill-up"....:)

    Our hot rods look kinf of similar, Randy.....sort of like '37 Fords, really.........mine has no windshield because I was headin' for the lakes.....

    I know you all want some of those swan and Indian head decals my Dad put on there, right?

    This was in Mays Landing, NJ around 1945-46......I was 3 or 4 I guess......
