Hopefully Lance won't be too upset that I posted these pics. I went over to his shop to drink a few cold ones and help him get the engine fired in his A. He found a cracked valve in one of the heads and we weren't able to wrangle up a spare head at 10PM on a Friday night.

After a few beers I tell Lance that we should at least work on one of the rides in the shop -- either his 50 Chev or the A. He says, "Well I did want to chop the top on the A." To which I respond . . . "Well I've never attempted anything like that, but we've had just enough beers to give it a shot." The pics from my camera phone tell the rest . . . awesome night . . . didn't get home until 5am, but managed to help with my first chop . . . and polish off a case of beer. :)

Hopefully Lance will post up the rest of the pics he took before his camera died.

He is from Minnesota, it's quite possible that he DID clean the metal and then it rusted in the 5 minutes between the cleaning and welding...

Lookin good, Lance. Now get her finished so we can go cut some donuts on the maiden voyage! ;)

Let me know when you're ready for some garage time. Now that I'm on my feet (somewhat), I can come over and get in your way again. :)

I bought it from a guy in farmmington with another 5 window body.

He had a sedan body made into a pickup cab that was cool.

Give Lance (towaholic) a call at 763-428-9911.

Or just win the auction. It ends in like 18 hours.

I looked at the ebay pics, it was his. That dash was the final detail for me. Was the truck a '29 on a seriously Z'd ch***is? He must have moved a bunch of stuff up there.

I don't know who started the green car. The Z'd frame I started but the cab was already done when he got it.
