What a find!!! We're all jealous now..... will definitely help the build time....
no waiting for patch panels that don't fit, blowing holes through rusty metal, missing parts, etc etc etc....

That one looks like a sweetheart. Study, study, study before you jump in and start making modifications. Have a final look in mind before you start and proceed with a firm plan and you'll have a fine traditional hot rod.

  9. That's a sweet coupe! May I ask what year it is titled as? You have 30 front fenders and a late 31 body. Nice score. You did well!

It is titled as a 31.

What is the difference on the fenders, I am guessing they would have been changed.

    Thanks, Mike H.

what a great starting point for your first build! it looks super solid, don't get spoiled as the 2nd or 3rd build won't be as easy! when you get ready to do juice brakes and have the backing plates and wheel cylinders let me know and i will suggest a way of mounting on rear w/o a lot of headaches. i have shared on here before but i can't always find things when i search!

1930 had a 2 piece splash apron(panel below body on each side) late 31 had a indented fire wall were the fuel line comes out, Dave

Good stuff! She's a beauty. Congrats and have fun.

  26. The difference is the seam on the splash apron that lines up with the front of the doors. The splash apron is the curved metal between the body and the running boards and runs from the front fender to the rear fender. It hides the frame and muffler and whatever else. 1930 fenders had the small section of splash apron attached to them and 1931 didn't. 1931 had a seemless full length splash apron. Your body could be sitting on a 30 chassis that was swapped at some time during it's life.

  27. You must have been verrrrrry good in a former life!
