Nothing will set that blue off like a nice fresh and clean white interior.

Too bad it's not a bubble top car,but it's still pretty cool! I'd go with Astros and ditch the skirts. There's a burgandy one running around here and it's bad***...

body lines like that make perfect mild customs! i wouldn't make any body mods but would definitey consider a watson style scallop job. just be sure the scallops hi-light the body lines not overtake the lines. good luck, jerseymike

My Dad's maroon '61 was the first car I ever raced at a drag strip. I think he knew, but never said anything.

another vote for loosing the oldsmobile in the grille. Lots of way to go with wheels/caps and that would be about it. Maybe save up for a shiney paint jobs...something in Watson flavor!!! Sweet car altogether tho...

Lose the skirts. Wrong era for the car.

This is how I would do it. No skirts. White interior. No sidepipes. Olds letters can stay, they're ok. Shiny color, black would be good and hide that it's a 4dr.

I'd probably look for a set of Buick wires and 1" whitewalls for it. But Astros would look good, as would chrome steel wheels that aren't quite as deep-dish as the reverse you have there.

Put the stock trim back on it, or if you get lucky, locate some Starfire trim with the aluminum panels.

    Very cool car-

All the side trim came with it, and is now back on the car.

Hard to tell from the pics, but it is HotRod Flats twilight blue mettalic with a blue flake top, so the paint will probably stay atleast til next year. Gotta drive the dog**** out of it this year!

Baby moons or Supremes are my 2 choices for the wheels.
