I was driving home last week and every time I looked in the mirror I said to myself that guys way too close.

It's a 70's restoration with 20' paint and an ok interior, mostly stock right now. I've just have to finish rounding up some paperwork and it should be on the road this week.
My plan is to drive it as is (with minor tinkering ) this summer and then decide what I'll do to make it mine.

First thing I don't have a back window or weather stripping around the rumble seat lid. I haven't been able to find diagrams that detail what parts I need to install them. Any direction would be appreciated. Thanks Phil

  2. Nice looking coupe. Are you sure it doesn't have the roll up rear window that is down? Google "Model A Parts" several vendors will appear. Installation is straight forward.

There is an 'interior' fixed rear window frame, which may use oval-head wood screws. My '31 rumble had drain channels, don't recall having weather stripping.

Good looking coupe, there is no weather stripping on the rumble seat, has a drain trough down both sides. I've had Model A's for 35 years, stock, warmed over banger and two flathead powered coupes and enjoyed them all. A stocker is a 50-55 mph car but still fun.

Brattons is another Model A supply. They have a great catalog also.

  9. Congrats on the Model A, looks like a nice one.

Snyder's, Bratton's, Mike's A-fordable are all good sources for new parts.

Stay away from Macs if you can. They are trying to make their profit on the shipping, even worse you are across the border

    No, no pressure.
I don't really have a time table for my work, I go out to the shop when l feel like it, and quit when I get tired. This is supposed to be fun A.
I got quite a lot done during the winter: 9" rear end out of a bronco, P and J traction bars. Boxing plates from wolfesmetalfabrication. I've got a F1 steering box roughed in. I've got the body back on temporarily. I find it still looks way to high. I'm not doing to much because of summer activities so I have time to think of my next move. image1-7.jpeg
