    Way cool that the mystery box has arrived, with something of very high quality inside of it !
     
  2. With the price of plywood these days, the box probably cost more than the rear end.

  3. I put helical gears and Detroit Locker spider gears in mine, a Champ, with Redline gear oil and it's pretty quiet. On the west coast Speedway Engineering and in the midwest Quickchange Exchange are experienced and have parts.

    I ran a 201 Halibrand in my old tudor for many years, didn't need radio for sure. It now resides under the work bench waiting rebuild and installation into my retirement 29 highboy. Again, no radio required.
