Progressing nicely! I really like the block being painted silver. It's a nice touch that looks like everything was sand cast together!

  5. ditto.

Whilst not an aesthetic item, what's planned regarding items such as fuel tank and battery?

Great to see the progress to what is an awesome car.

    Cheers,

This is going to be one hell of a kool ride!

Congrats to Scott and Rudy for having the right taste and vision.

Chop is going well, doors are cut and going back together. We tried real hard to keep the third hinge but it just does not look right and the door will not pivot correct at the end. Trying to get the car done to bring to GNS in Jan......in the RAW......Trying hard.

I don't know how I've missed this built so far, but I am subscribed now. This is going to be one beautiful ride. That Ardun engine has to be one of the sexiest engines I have ever seen. Keep up the good work.

Well, trying to save the top hinge and chopping the car only 3 1/4 is much harder that one would think. Rudy has had to slice and dice the grind and cut the roof in many ways to make it work. Then we saw that the door would not open right and the pivot of the hinge would no work. At end of the day we will not keep that top hinge, so off if went. here are the pics from yesterday, and a extra one of the 32 I snagged at the Primer Nation a few months back.

The best part of this car, was it was parked in the lot behind the main part of the show.....I think I stole this car. I bought it from Mike who built it and did a great job. There were some things that Rudy needed to change but all in all it is great and some very rare parts on it. But this thread is not about the 32.......

Not to mess up my own thread but I just picked up this baby to put on the 32.......NOS and if you look close you will note we did some changes to the pulleys so we can run a mechanical fan and keep it all period correct......Still want to run the mechanical tack also and it all stays in line to run all stock belts. It will be a good look and hope it all works out. I will post pics here and continue to fuck up my own thread.

It's looking killer Scott. Great work on the job from Rudy and great choice on the chop from you!!!!

And the new S.Co.T engine......I'd give my testicles (both) for that setup.
