Well, I got it today and boy is my work cut out for me. 27' roadster body on an "A" frame. 36' front end, 9" rear (or mercury...have not decided), banjo steering wheel and 3-speed top loader. Im dropping a 53' Merc flattie in it w/ a 3 - speed w/ overdrive from Merc. Toss in the 35' truck grill I just picked up at Pamona and I believe its almost there...except a few patch panels. and I MEAN a few....DOH!! Definitely a skill tester at hand, but it will be lots of fun and honest frustration. Lots of patches are needed and well, it looks like its not going to be a streetable until next year....ha!!! I hope!!! Thanks to Slazzen for the car and parts and extras he tossed in, Especially the long drive to meet half way. Its been a long day...but Im sure will be worth it; im sure ill be saying that when I fire her up for the first time and roll her down the street. Now...its time to shop for a few missing parts...If anyone has any around to help, thanks in advance....
Well you've got most of the hard parts..., Doors, turtle deck and cowl...! Great start..., at least you have something you can patch!!! Mark P.S.---"Roadsters are addictive...!!!"

Slazzen, Man Im sorry about the tire...I feel bummed about the deal, but Im glad you made it home. I hope those machines profit you in a big way. Definitely my day is made...I hope yours is too. Im sure we will be doing this again for the Cab...hopefully not soon enough...heh.
She'll have all the right stuff and flattie-powered to boot! Good luck and keep us posted re your progress. Regards, Dave.
Amazing.Making something so very neat.Trad.down to the core.I'm blown away by the transformation these prodjects under go.
Its late and im still up (1 am PST) mocking up parts. Retarted eh, but a 2nd problem hit me on my 55 so Im trying to get her fixed so I can take her on the road tomarrow. I guess a good excuse to keep toying with the 27'.

Looks like a good score ! These guys sell a new trunk lid, either the outside skin or complete .... http://modelthaven.com/npsmn.html
I have decided not to go w/ the 35 grill so Im probably going to put it up for trade. I like the looks of the 32 shell better. too many picts, changing my mind, not enough money. If anyone has a 32 shell they would like to trade, Im game.
