wow its been over a month since I've updated this...I don't have any pics to post just yet. the list of parts i have so far for the front include a 4" drop axle, 37-41 round back spindles, nice lookin set of split bones, and I spent the weekend wire wheeling and painting the frame so it wont rust anymore lol...all I need now to hang everything is a spring some perches and shackles...but I'm in need of a dealer for them if anyone has a suggestion

I know all to well what a dipshit can hide with bondo. Spent a year of my life patching my car back together. Who?...me bitter?! lol. It's going to be killer when your done and you'll have the satisfaction of knowing you fixed her up the right way. I applaude you for your effort.

Oh and let's not forget all the $$$$$.Few people have any clue the amount of money in my wreck.LOL! Mine is "finished" and well...I'm about to replace a perfectly good engine (has 600 miles on it) because it's not fast enough!:D (Anyone looking for a 383 that runs 11.40's?)Talk about sick!
You'll hit some rough spots along the way. I wanted to quit a couple of times, but thankfully just had to keep going.Took 3 years to get it to this point. I smile every time I look at it and ALWAYS glance back for that last look. You'll never regret sticking with it and the money won't mean a damn thing when you get too old to wrench on it any more. Now let's see some sparks fly over there!:D

    WAYYYYYY better!!!

It looks like your belt line is pretty intact...that's good because that can be kind of a pain to fix. Bottom few inches are thin, but overall she's looking pretty gnarly. Find any bullet holes yet? I quit counting at 65+.

i haven't found any yet but one thing that really pissed me off is they welded the cowl together and to the body and warped the shit out of it so now i need a whole new cowl

Yikes! Well, I can kinda relate...mine was fine until I warped it learning how to weld:D Spent 2 weeks banging on it with a hammer and dolly like a schmuck until God had pitty on me and allowed it to at least be uniformly warped.
Gotta be a sicko to mess with these things...

  22. I was just going to say I'd be looking for a new cowl.....or at least the lower side panels...But you can get those new pretty reasonably.

Well...yes and no, LOL! I bought door skins for mine and not only were they 20 gauge (18 gauge rocks) ,but they didn't even fit! I did not have much success with pre fabbed stuff. I think I used Snyders, but my memory sucks. Wasn't that hard just cutting them out myself...only took a year to do 75% of the car:D
