I agree with you Ian, I have measured taped measured taped and eyed up and even taped for the last time last night. There is no harm in using tape and imagination. If it doesnt look good then you're just out of a roll of scotch tape on your chop lines. But if it looks good to you and you ready to make it happen chop away and piece her back together. Next week me and the wife will be chopping my top like there is no tomorrow:D

I haven't done a whole lot but here's a little update!! Still waiting to get those god damn parts to mount the doors correctly. If it wasn't for that the chop would be finished for sure!!

So i did some rear garnish stuff and inner structure work.

Alright , I finished 1 of the door tops!!:( There's gotta be a better way to do this slanted door top, man that shit is complicated, i spent half the time thinking of where to cut, how much to cut, thinking some more, smoke a cigarette, then think more!! I did a lot of research and nobody ever really showed how to do one so this was a definite trial and error for me....... AGAIN!!

I totally cut on the wrong side of the tape so i got a little shorted on the section with the tab sticking out

It ain't flawless, but it's nothing a little filler can't fix. The second will be better.....
