ok, so my jokes **** and i'm no mad fabricator.......just giving this my first shot........ i kept trying to dig at him to get him going.....he's quite the character....so that's why i keep saying things- while pointing at a 94 carb- like is that a quadrajet carb or is this a 327.........usually that's gets him fired up.......but he was on his best behavior today.....he wouldn't tell any of the good stories on camera......afraid some of the people may get word (even though 99% of them are dead...seriously) see what you think! i can't find that wheel thing that ryan speaks of......here's my first attempt
here's a direct link......OK how do i get the little screen like ryan said....something about little movie projector in my text editor???? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pkhycbjrLrs
You're gramps is a hoot! No water in the radiator, what about no radiator in the car? I bet he's got a ton of stories to tell. Rich
ok smarty britches......is there like a secret handshake or pat on the **** to learn how to do this?? rodster- i really wish i could have got him going......you'd be cryin' laughin......... i wanted him to tell the story about when they got their hands on their first 265 SBC.....a buddies dad had a bread truck that he, of course, wouldn't be driving until monday morning.....so, pull the engine late friday night, race is all weekend, have it back in the bread truck late sunday night, right......when he was racing, he just had a bolt for a gas pedal....didn't take the time to weld a washer on the end.......well, while shoving on the throttle rod te get all he could, the rod dropped down the other side of the fire wall and stuck wide open......he rolled it and the electric fuel pump kept pumping....long story short, everyone was ok, and they got the engine back in the bread truck.....the old man that owned the truck never even knew.....
He is a hero........wish him a happy birthday from me, i'm sitting here grinning like an idiot!! Kev.
i didna know ya'll had them thar funny accents!! thanks for posting this! see you at the showdown! zach

Fun Stuff... My Dad turned 77 that very day... Wish he could move about as good as your Granpa...! Thanks
You've got one swell grandpa. Cherish EVERY moment with him and keep him talking about the "good old days". Also, get as much video as you can of him, it will serve you well when he's gone. I only wish there had been video around while my grampa was still alive. my memories are as vivid as can be but I just can't share him with other people like your going to be able to. Be sure to let us in on anything else you manage to "capture" of him. Frank
