My Friend Scored This Weekend, Check It Out!

A good friend of mine has been asking me for a while now to help him find a car, he's new to the whole car thing so needed help...I ended up finding an add for a 59 Ranchero for sale for $4,000 obo, There were no pics but it sounded like a good deal, It got converted to a 302 V8, C-4 Trans, lowered 5 inches etc...We drove out to Bakersfield to check it out, The guy owned it for 11 years and was a really cool guy and just needed to get rid of it. After checkin the car out and having a few beers and chatting the guy said "Fuck it man i'll take $2,800 for it" I was shocked! So my friend of course sealed the deal...Heres some pics of the car we plan to do as much as we can to it before Viva next month!

It fires right up, runs and stops really good everything was rebuilt, The trans has a bad leak so it looks like thats going to need a rebuild

Ya man i really dig 59s too! I guess one of there buddies cut that piece out since there was some pretty bad cancer there, Its an easy fix though...Other than that the body is super solid some surface rust here and there but nothing major

Right on!! Then add a top loader 4 spd and some lakers the full length of the rockers and drive the piss out of it. I would prefer a '57 but for $2800 I wouldn't complain.
