Hot Rods My friends call me Motorhead what do they call you?

As I was cleaning up my 51 Dodge for a street show tomorrow in my hometown of Windber Pa I was thinking how blessed I am. I have a group of very close friends that gather together from my graduating class of 1973. Now I mean there is sixty or so of us. None of them are into cars and they call me Motorhead and I consider that a huge compliment. Now I know our hot rods aren't powered by motors but engine heads just doesn't work. So what do you friends call you?

I think my default nickname is Asshole. If somebody says " Hey, Asshole", I usually respond.

 

When I was little I thought my name was Jesus.

Depends on who you ask, my boss, my wife, my adult kids etc, I'm sure there are some really good ones they call me when I'm not around.

My ex used to call me "slut puppy" when she found out a few of my ex girlfriends were "exotic dancers"... hehe hehe....

They call me Mr. Wonderful...for obvious reasons.

When my oldest nephew was young, him and his friends mostly drove beaters. When they had problems, they would come to see me, or I would go there if it wouldn't start. I had a real good success rate and because of it they called me the doctor. I'm 77 years old now and sadly my nephew passed away last year. I still see some of his friends and out of respect they call me Uncle Peter.

My friends call me "Gene" when ever I'm around.
What ever they, or what anyone else calls me, when I'm not around, I don't know.
You would have to ask them.

In the past, I've had a lot of people bring mechanical problems to me, and a lot of people brought welding issues to me. A lot of them have sent others with similar issues to me. "Gene" was usually the name I heard, even though I didn't know most of them.

One of my good friends calls me hot rod, some of my other friends have called everything but a human being.

 

Lew or Lewy...never been fond of my first name.

Fred. It's my alias. Real name is Jerry. Some people thinks my real is Fred.
I've been called Doug, Mike and sure other names.

I get to see gene-koning but once a year at the wisc hrh. I don't think I have ever called him Gene its always Mean Gene. Don't know why he's a hell of a nice guy. But then I call everybody I know named Gene, Mean Gene. Must be from the old days of Hulk Hogan.
