So I had a blast at GNRS, my first time at that show.
Took tons of pix, here are a few.

First stop: NHRA Museum to see the SoCal "Double Threat Coupe" and the Pierson Coupe side-by-side! I flew all the way to the Coast to see the SoCal car and it was worth it...

Met Dean Jeffries, got his new book signed and visited his shop, MantaRay was there; I was blown away!

Went around the corner to Tom Sparks; his place is an automotive Alice-in-Wonderland, a real time-traveling experience and Tom is a great guy to hang with and talk cars...

SoCal Speed shop had the Indy Speedster out back, no pix allowed, but I hung out with Jackie Howerton, Tom Prufer, Bill Lindi g and Pete...flying with the eagles!!

Ran into Chip Foose, Jimmy Shine, Roy Brizio and my favorite Auto Writer and East-Coast rodder Ken Gross who signed his last copy of "Art of the Hot Rod" book for me.

Man, what a trip I had!!

    Hope you dig the pix!

It's probably O/T, but that's the first time I saw Jeffries' GT40 roadster, and it looks impressive!
