    Now that's funny.
I mean come on. Did the guy have to be such and ahole. No he decided to be. He could have explained the policy to you like a human being.
Razz me all the way back to the entrance....I'd stuffed his *** in a trash can.

Clark, if you are talking about the Paco bodied speedster that was there in 2007 it was in the Race Car cl*** 24A. It had to have proven race history to be certified. The Speedster deal is something AACA just can't police there are far more today than there were back in their hayday.

In this area many of the hard core Model A restorer types also have a Model A speedster.

I think that any of us who have been attending car events and swap meets for any length of time have at least one "***hole at the gate" story to tell. I have mine and I would think most anyone who has attended a number of events has his or hers.

And we all need to remember to do our homework before heading off to an event with our vehicle of choice.

  4. An excellent summary of the situation....all that really needs to be said.

Time to put this one to rest, ladies & gentlemen, IMHO. :)

I think Big Peter's been a help on this rather convoluted thread and as Mr48Chev points out, officials with just a big of control and power can be difficult at any car show.

As for the AACA museum, why, that's in Pennsylvania, too! Rock on.

And to be fair, everyone who has worked a gate has encountered the ***hole who feels the rules don't apply to him.

Hey you guys. I saw the car in question at the Lake Compounce Swap, nice shape and all steel! The owner seemed like a reasonable guy from our short conversation.

I was at a small show with street rods , cl***ics and antiques. This old antiquer walks up to my 37 Ford which is chopped with a Packard grille and Caddy powered , and starts to mouth off about how I ruined a good Ford cp. I said to him this car was chopped and grille put in back in 1948 when car was only 11 years old. I said was it an antique then , he stuttered and said still don't matter it's ruined! yea well so be it.

Are Polotics the gold chainers of the tick world? Do they have little alligators on their polo shirts or little horsies with polo players? Probably feed with one pinkie up and wear little billet collars :)

I never heard of perogies but according to the picture I saw they must be good because it looked somebody had already eaten it once. Best thing I know of from Pa is Yuengling and my sons wife. I have two good friends that are hot rodders and love original cars just like I do, but I have a neighbor with a mordor A model and a mordor 55 Chev. that thinks his **** don't stink because he has original cars. Poises sells the t-shirt that saya it all." Any man can restore a car , but it takes a real man to cut one up" The ***hole that ran you out should be flogged and barred from working for AACA again. Just an opinion from an ole southern boy in VIRGINIA, yeah I know everybodys got one. ( opinion that is )

I sure hope so. Is the dump **** that couldn't read the AACA Car Corral rules still kicking? If so has he learned to read or made friends with someone that does?:mad:

  19. yes i know this thread is way old but it would seem to me that if the show required a pic of the car with the entry then all this ******** would be avoided

i have never been to this show or know anything about it

i dont understand so-called car people who wont look at cars they dont "approve" of
i mean i dont give a flying rats *** about ferraris, porsches, lambos, etc etc etc but if theres one parked at a show and it looks good ill atleast give it a p***ing glance

and then theres the guys who cant get over cars built before or after a certain year........
