Sure, but not many people know he filled dumpster rolloffs with NOS AMC stuff when he swapped to Chevy stuff. Eddie Albert was a WWII HERO that saved about 50 guys, and few people know about it. You use a Zippo to reheat your Perogies? Perogies & HAMB can I get T shirt rights?

STONE STOCK, as they left the factory,Race cars have to be DO***ENTED and get a CERTIFICATION before intering an AACA NATIONAL Meet. You HAVE to be a MEMBER of AACA to get a swap meet space. Most people READ THE RULES before driving all the way only to find out the vehicle is not allowed. If you are a jock think of it as the Super Bowl and a guy shows up in a Soccor outfit and wants to play, and is tuned away. No matter how much he cryes he isn't gettin his *** in the game:rolleyes:

And at least 25 years old. The car, not the soccer player.

  17. Bob, I was more thinking along the lines of the flea market. If a car might be do***ented with research, it should be legally in the flea market. We all know there have been hundreds of undo***ented sprint car hulks there over the years, I'm just suggesting that the same should be used for hot rods that may have been stock cars or drag cars in their past.

The problem is defining what a Hot Rod is and when they morfed into Street Rods. A LOT of guys worked hard to get the Dry Lakes and Drag cars into AACA, and I'm not going to get into that here. If you can prove to the Certification Commettie that your car did race it can get on the show field. Hershey is AACA's event and they have been doing a good job of running it IMO. If two AACA members showed up at the FLEA MARKET gate next year one with a 1955 INDY car and the other had a do***ented 1955 Bonneville '29 Roadster on '32 rails, I don't see any differance, but I'm not Joe Adverage AACA Member. They see a car that was "ruined" and can't tell if it was 1955 or 2005 that the work was done. I don't know if the "Parts Police" are active there or not, if you are selling a latemodel add on part it shouldn't be there. Maybe I just blank the stuff out, but there isn't any post 1957 stuff in the fleamarket that I remember seeing. :)

Does the AACA allow modified peiroggies? I was thinking of bringing some with artificially flavored cheese and and those repro onions they sell in a can.
I can show a receipt that I purchased them in PA:rolleyes:.

When I got in this morning, I was wondering if this "hanging by a" thread would be dead? Bot much to my delight, it's still here!:D

Are the modifications visiblely different from the stockers? Do they react differently to salt and vinegar?

Vinegar is a good way to ruin parogies! They should also be about 250 degrees, so you remember eating them for two days.

  25. Speaking of food that "rereminds" you...

When I was at Temple U, the U Penn guys in our camus ministry used to hold a Thanksgiving dinner for the kids that wouldn't be able to make it home- it was always a great meal with a whole mess of food, including my buddy John's collared-greens.

Well, two days later the guys had a date night to encourage the girls, and everybody was hungry, so they all decided to heat up some of the leftovers, including the collared-greens... that had been left on the stove FOR TWO DAYS...

About 11PM, the guys started running one by one for the bathroom, hurling from the food poisoning- called over to the girls' house- same thing.
