So I took all my parts to bob bleeds and attended his dads party... His dad is a RULER and the party was awesome.

the following tuesday we started the build for MFS 2... EVEL flew in from cali, Bob, Redpunk and I trashed on creating a work of art.

The ch***is RULES and I think Bob has a PUNK ROCK way of building everything.

I learned more this last week about "building" and having fun than I have in a LONG TIME... normally I would be back in college but thats done with, now its time to rock...

So theres still work to be done but this motor runs AWESOME... it scared the living **** outta me when it fired. Its gonna be a strong motor! The lasalle mated PERFECT!

Thanks bob, evel, redpunk, bobs dad and laura bleed for an awesome get-together with friends, and a bad *** build up of my first "real" hot rod.

    Its time to scare people.

The body was tagged in 1961 in Minnesota, were finding out more info as we go but ill tell you, there were'nt to many roadsters built in this state... its only warm 3 months outta the year here so... The body was literally saved by Redpunks dad from a junkman- I'm gonna give it a second chance.

I have $2400 in it right where it sits, I scrounged for parts and only purchased what I had to. Most of this stuff I bought while in college, you get creative when you dont have the funds... but I was lucky enough to get all the "right" parts, old parts, it looks like a barn find right now.

Tuck, the roadster looks awesome, and for $2400 bucks... It just doesn't get any better than that.

Bob, that style of hot rod building that you do is way up there on my top ten list. Mean-looking, low and traditional, but not overdone in any aspect.

You're right, Tuck! It has "the look". I think you'll have a lotta fun with that thang. I'm so happy the motor turned out ok. When I bought it from CornCobCoupe, he only knew what the previous owner told him about it, although "cob" did show me a photo of the old 38 ford racer it usta be in.
Looks like you're not gonna have to spend a lotta money on a really loooooooooong driveshaft, using that LaSalle ******. I got that from Smokey. Don't forget to put some oil in it....it's almost dry......congrats! I can't wait to attend BTT50's and watch you roast the cheater slicks with real HEMI POWER!!!!!

I feel like I got my *** kicked... and so does everyone else... it was alot of work! Its the little stuff that gets you hung up and keeps the clock spinning.

Bob is a ruler when it comes to the frames, that and the right combonation of parts... I have a picture of all of those parts in the box of my pickup.

It was like a full size model kit only bob was the only one who knew the instructions on how to put the frame together the right way...

It sits so low... I love the stance and the motor RULES.

Rocky thanks again for doing the "deal", it worked out so awesome. Corncobcoupe... I wana get that picture! or a copy of it.

    This is too damn coooool....

If my eyes don't deceive me I think you have the makings of a HOT ROD. That's going to be a winner when you get it all together. Be sure to keep us posted on the build. Congrats!!!

    I dig.

Please tell me what is going on with the front of that frame. Is it bent upwards? My brothers and I are curious. Youngest one (15 years) has a druid princess inspired project that needs frame inspiration and yours looks choice. Last year for Christmas I was able to give him a 26 t sedan body and "A" that were donated to me by friends.

He is not Germ and wants to avoid suicide.

    Thanks.
