I got a friend that is one of the big wigs at one of the largest pick and pull yards and i asked him a few questions one day about the core charges and the **** that is wrecked by the jack*** and he told me they are a s**** buisness and the parts sales were just extra $$. I have been around junk yards for the past 30yrs and it ****s to find a part you need only to find some ***hole has broke a 200 part to get a .50 bolt. I have been through desertratrodder's yard a bunch of times and seen the **** he is talking about. some of these idiots think this desert is beverly hills and go around complaining on people and things they don't like, and the mayor encourages it, of course he is a lawyer!!
the same sort of stuff happens over here in the uk... its the "blame and claim" culture which started in the states which has slowly started moving over the pond.. I remember climbing 4 cars high to get dash instruments and other parts from cars in s**** yards over here when i was younger... it just wont happen in most places anymore..
