My very good friend Shaun and I flew into the Bob Hope airport early Friday for the LA Roadster Show. We have not been there since 2006. Man, it has been too long! After a good In & Out burger we wasted no time and "snuck" into the swap meet. We had a blast, saw some old friends and made a lot of new ones. The weather was great, it's still in the 60's in Washington and I was afraid it would be in the 90's or 100's and we would cook. It was warm but not terrible. Maybe it was the giant straw hats we bought Anyways, got some scores, my bag had to be emptied and searched on the way through security at the airport today Heres my pics. Man, there is a ton of shit down there!!! Me in my life saving 7.00 hat
Chris, It was really good meeting you and Shaun in person. Excellent selection of photos you posted! Man I'm glad you snapped a photo of that blue vicky gasser. I saw it driving away today, but missed taking a photo. -Aaron
You too man, glad I finally gotta meet some of you guys in person. That Vicky is actually a deuce, and Shaun's favorite car there. Had 1971 tabs on the plates and sounded fuckin great for a carb'd mill!!! Thanks for the BS session!
Man I just looked at the pics again and noticed the Vicky is a Deuce. Guess I got too much sun today! Yeah that thing was bas ass! -Aaron
Price tag on that lil dude was 65K! Yeah, I am beat after walking miles and miles in the sun and getting up at 4am today
Thanks Chris. That Vicky rules!!! Do you happen to remember the asking price of the 32 Sport coupe body/panels???
