Customs My last build

  1. Very nice work on the build and that 2-door wagon is a real clean car - it’s been a while since I’ve seen one in that nice shape!

Scored a 4dr -61 Lark parts car for my wagon project for $400 (sold the drivetrain for $200) which included new bumpers, OEM grill and a bunch of usable parts. Basically bought it for the frame which is 11g versus the wagon’s 14g.
I have a -84 Corvette C4 front and rear suspension and will use the front for sure, have not decided on the C4 for the rear yet, might go the C10 trail-arm route.
First decision is frame to ground clearance, I’m thinking 4-4.5”

Getting the Studebaker frame ready for the -84 Corvette C4 suspension. Rather than grafting the original Corvette sub frame to the “Stude” I will use one from Flatout Engineering.
This is a total budget build that I hope to finish under 20k.

I am mocking up the stance and preparing for the C4 Corvette suspension and I noticed that the front wheels are favoring the front of the car. I’m thinking about moving them back 1” since I am going to be cutting into it anyway. What are the drawbacks? Thoughts?
