I have a ton of other **** I should be doing right now but since I'm incredibly lazy and a procrastinator I figured I'd post this new picture of my Fury. Just put the whitewalls on and a set of '59 Dodge Royal Lancer 4 bar hubcaps and stainless skirts are waiting to go on next.

I'm also an idiot who forgot to add the picture to the post the first time.

  3. Didn't Exner get fired for designing that car?

General Motors actually designed their '59 models to look more like the Exner designed Chrysler products. They were originally planning to use the '58 GM platforms again in '59 but they changed them to have big fins and funky bodywork to look like the Mopars which were quite popular. The Valiants were also really good sellers. Of course, I'm biased because I'm a big fan of Exner's work.

I almost scored a ragtop in that body style last year. Quite possibly my all time favorite ragtop. Nice car man!

  9. It's perfect. How do the Lancer wheelcovers look on it?

That's the back of my shop, not my house. I guess that's no excuse for having siding missing from the back of the shop, but my house at least has all one color of paint.

  14. Looks good! Have you thought about two tone, or even tri tone, paint?!

Either one of them should have, although it does make them unique.
