CHANGE??? That implies that you will recognize the difference between your new life with kids and you past life without them.... BROTHER... you won't even remeber what life used to be like. Strap in and enjoy the ride.

BTW: Not all future garage assistants are boys

well now, you have no idea how much it is going to change. for the first few months your house will be full of visitors, family, in-laws, friends so their will be no privacy. then after that is over there will be a long period of time with no sleep. After that you will get into the groove and life will rock along and will be great. then school starts, along with that come parent teacer meetings, fighting for your kids rights, back to school nights, talent shows, athletics, you get my drift. still life is good, but you realize that you have no free time, where does it go, i have no idea. then come the teenage years, that is when if you have any hair left it will be grey and you will wear it as a badge of honor. in all seriousness, children will be your greatest source of pride, joy and aggrivation you will ever know. hold on it is one hell of a ride. personally I hope my parents are right, grabdchildren are your reward for not killing your children. Congrats and good luck.

Brother are you in for a surprise. Get the car done before its born. Garage guilt will double the time it takes to finish any project that is in need. Oh, and when the wife says, "you spend more time on that car than you do with me and the kid(s)", DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT under any circumstances hesitate in your responce of " I will take him/her/ them with me to the show tomorrow and you can have the day to your self." Then, call her from the show and tell her you and the kid/kids are having a great time! Then the guilt is all hers. Works everytime. Good luck, enjoy them while they are young and still want to hang around with dad.
