My 4 yr old has been begging to go work on one of our hotrods so yesterday I let him help me pull the motor out of our panel truck. The motor is going to go into a 1974 full convertible K5 Blazer that was given to me. The blazer will be my winter ride because the dually probably won't get very far in the snow.

He's one happy little camper out there helping his dad work on the big boy stuff.:D

  4. That's awesome! This is something he will never be able to get out of his system! My oldest son just turned 3 and his favorite toys are his 'tools' (well maybe his 'Thomas' trains are #1). I can't wait to do father-son projects with him!

My dads not a car guy at all. Everything I've learned I picked up from magazines and trial and error. Hopefully I can pass some of it on to him. He loves working on them. He gets mad if i go to the shop without him. My daughter loves old iron too but just wants to ride in them. I got a extra welding helmet so he can watch me weld. May even let him burn some wire too.
