I am making progress on the Hemi. Just got my Blower back from Gene Mooneyham last weekend. I'm just getting all the pullies set up on it. I still need to get pistons rods and a ****** adapter. Then I'm ready to run. In the mean time of looking for an 8 carb intake for the blower I picked up an 8 carb drag star that used to run on Big daddy Garlits Swamp Rat 1. I'm getting so close I'm still pushing to runb the blower. Just got to see if I can get this shoe horned into my coupe. Aaron SAVAGE
here is another shot of the engine. Got the blower all done. All the block work crank heads are done.
here is a shot of my 8 carb intake. It took a while to find but to top it off it came from Don Garlits Swamp Rat.
Hey, is that your couch? I really like the color. Just throw in a copy of Fast Cars and Tiki Bars, and you'll be all set!
ha ha ha speaking of couches I just got rid of the other one a couple of weeks ago. It was GOLD and from the 70s. We cut it up with a chain saw and ran over it with the tractor to get it into the dumpster,. Oh the memories of that old couch. ha ha ha.
i bet rad**** still has that hemi-hydro adaptor,did i mention i love hydra-matics? www.rodnkustom.com/rocketeers/hydramatic/index.html
Dude, that is funny, I bought one of those manifolds six years ago and the guy told me the same thing. Don Garlits must of had a couple of them. I heard Gene Mooneyham sold his business to the Western Rock guys? I used to work there it was pretty fun working with those old timers. Jimmy White
I'm pretty sure its from Don Garlits since I talked to him and he mailed it to me. Unless someone is using his name.. I acatually bought 2 intakes from him. So I'm sure he had a few intakes in his day. Don't know who the western rock guys are.. Gene Mooneyham is a cool old guy. Must have been fun working with them. Jimmy are you going to be at march meet? I need a pair of header flanges.
