My Lone Star Round up 2012 story and pics

Ah man, it was good to be back in Austin! Jamie surprised me a couple weeks ago with plane tickets to Austin! Saturday was her birthday, and she wanted to go down there to celebrate She is AWESOME!!!!!! We flew out Friday afternoon getting into Austin late. Marcy hooked us up with an awesome room at the Embacy right on Congress...thanks again Marcy you are the best!

Saturday we hit the show and had a blast! I was worried it was gonna be hot...being from up here I am not used to heat yet and didn't wanna cook I thought the weather was great despite the wind and rain, we had to take cover under Bass' tent during a downpour

Saw lots of great folks- Bass and Angie, Denise, Mark Ford, Road Farmer, Kisam, Ryan, Evel, Joe T Creep, Texas Speed, John Joyo, Bob Bleed, Dreadybear, Elrod and his wife, Anderson, Marcy, Randy P, Norwell, Flat Top Bob, Hot Rod Pro, Jeffrey James, Weesner and quite a few others who are slipping my mind.

Everyone down there was just so nice, I did a lot of hand shaking that day. Jeffrey James and I hung out Saturday night with Dreadybear, thanks again Paul for getting us into the ASS party Tons of cool cars and neat vendors...Oh, and great food EVERYWERE!

We Spent Sunday just cruising around Austin, had lunch with Marcy and played tourist. Had a blast and ate some great food! Jamie bought a bitchin set of coyboy boots at Allen's boots to wear in the wedding Our plane flew out at 6:30 pm and when we got there...they overbooked it and Jamie and I did not have seats. We were not too impressed to say the least but a nice couple took some vouchers and Delta Dollars and gave up their seats...Jamie and I both HAD to be at work today!

Anyways, enough BS, heres my pics. The Round Up has a TON to offer both at the fairgrounds and after hours.

Damn cool shots! You were one of the H.A.M.B.ers I had hoped to meet this time out, but both myself and Elpolako were stuck in our booth all weekend long. It's cool seeing all of the pictures and realizing I missed a bunch of stuff on my two short jaunts over the weekend. Thanks for filling in the gaps.
