Thanks! I think you are a lot further a long than I am. Your coupe looks great man! I need some more info on it immediately What are your plans.
We spent the whole day Friday getting the driver side fender to fit. It is pretty close but still needs some work. The p***enger side should be easier.
Here is a little progress update. The old floor had a hard life. We decided to cut it out and go with a roadster/5-window floor. This floor and these wheel wells will look better once they are permanently installed. The old ch***is is bent and twisted. We are going to fix it sometime in the future, maybe for another project. For this project we are using a new ch***is. We got the body on the new ch***is for the first time. It took a bit of fighting because the body was fairly out of shape. The firewall didn't willing go in. We had the fight the cowl panel. After some heating, bending, hammering, prying, spreading, and clamping we got it looking good. The lower cowl panels were really in bad shape. The result of a rear collision. The previous collision bent the cowl panels where they bolt to the fame. That was the reason the doors never lined up well, and the body lines were all off. It is all starting to shape up. The feet are not yet riveted on to the firewall yet, but it is in there. I took this picture before I got them straightened out Don't pay any attention to the wide tires up front, and the off sized tires in the rear. They are just on the car to roll it around. That is all for now. I have a long list of stuff do in the very near future. Slowly but surely. -Charlie
