No not at all ,I checked that and jacked the frame up and everyrhing moves freely. With the car on the ground I figured with the little amount of suspension travel at the axle how much movement do you really get after 44 inches back at the tie rod anyway ? Doesn't the radius rod locate the axle for and aft and keep it from moving .It doesn't seem to me that the tie rod gets much weight or movement(abuse) at that point,I could be very wrong though I 'm just speculating.

    Thanks alot!

Oh ,Pitman got me wondering so I undid the radius rods at the axle to see how much total travel the tie rods allowed. I can move the radius rods abouut 7 inches above the top of the frame rail and even further going down. Thanks for asking ! You kinda had me wondering too.:)

You worked out a novel solution! I just wanted to know if the travel limits checked out OK.

I haven't forgotten. Just hoping somebody was getting something done. I have the twins allday and my oldest and the twins at night. All but impossible to get anything accomplished.

Did you ask Terry or Jeff about the wire? My bro-inlaw said he thinks I need #4 (3 legs about 120ft long.)

Love the direction your going with the sedan. I'm building my 31 Tudor the traditional way with the banger, but plans are to build a nice rod like yours down the road.
