Quick update..I spent last night making the main manifold that will distribute the fuel and nitrous..add the carbs and linkage..and it becomes real busy but w/ purpose...Ka-Boom...Littleman.....I do not think this setup is something you see everyday....six-two's w/ nitrous...

Once I get the engine re-tuned to the extra 1.2 compression it was given over the winter and the new cam and converter and gears......I have an idea where I want to go w/ that tuneup before I hit the ****on...And I hope to learn alot more about this stuff before that happens..............Littleman...nothing like a cat chasing its tail....

Nitrous is fun, especially if you like to tune on it. I think you've got that part covered. How did you go about figuring the sizes of the nitrous and fuel jets?

You're going to need wheelie bars if you hit it on the launch. First time I tried it the car nearly flipped over backwards.

I went w/ the br*** jets and not the common stainless ones....The br*** will be much easier to drill track side than messing w/ the stainless ones......I am going to start off small and work my way up...I have an idea of where I want to start...should be fun when the time comes......I plan on running the jets squared....same size for both fuel and nitrous......I know nothing about this stuff let alone running it on a six-two get up......The nitrous oxide systems tech thought I was nuts for some reason and gave me very little info....Littleman

Read up and have fun. There's lots of info out there to filter through. Get some extra bottles too. A full one will only be good for about 2 p***es. It took me a while to realize that.

10-12 ago I had a mild 406 that ran 10.90 in the coupe. With nitrous it went 9.70. My slow *** 327 Chevy II went from 14.60 to 13.02 @108 with a 125 shot last year. Your truck might pick up more than you think.

    Good luck.

Bottle temp and pressure is a real big deal too. Too much pressure and you will swell the plungers in the solenoids. Dave Ive used and tuned nitrous set ups. If you need any help PM me and Ill do what I can too help you out.

Littleman Talked to you in the pits at Thompson last year at g***er reunion. Will look you up this year. The truck looks great. After nitrous , do I see a supercharger with 6 carbs up top? Think of the possibilities still out there ! Are the pics of coupe at Kobo still hanging in the daughters room?

I've helped a friend out with an very off topic race vehicle (mud racing), and he used several different switches to insure nothing went south. WOT switch, fuel pressure switch, to an oil pressure switch, and finally an rpm activated switch. All had to be on or no juice. Redundant to say the least, but he was running a 40G mountain motor.

    Glenn, It has 259/266 dur. @.050.......550/.570 lift before you figure in the 1.6 rocker ratio.....106 centerline..........9 1/2'' 4900 stall converter....13.2 to 1 compression.........Littleman
