Much easier to lean over and throw up all the Wendy's hamburger tartar and green chili combos you used to gamble your life with....
I still regret not grabbing that shell you offered to "give" me free....

Yeah, I'm about ready for another update! This build looks really good; the body is cool as hell. Tough looking roadster, man! Can't wait to see more progress on this one.....

Sorry guys. Times got tough with work being slow and bills stacking up. She got sold at about 50% finished... sold the body to a guy off craigslist, and the rolling chassis to a HAMBer. Tears my heart out, but atleast she'll live on with someone else.

One of these days I'll have a hot rod of my own. :(

Here's the most recent photos I have of it before it was sold...

As you can see I have enough projects going on at once...and these are only the ones indoors...

Trying to catch up on bills and trying to liquidate some of my crap laying around so I can move into a real house and quit living in this shithole makeshift apartment inside the warehouse!

That belongs to the girlfriend. If it were mine, it would have been sold to save the T, believe me.

what is the width of the frame (outside to outside)? I am about to start my 27 roadster and I have no frame but am going to start from scratch with 2x3 or 2x4 tubing .....any ideas?

Are you boxing the frame. I can't really tell from the picture wether its boxed or not. I sure like that motor though

  11. its not very often do you see a Y-block in a traditional project. Great motor choice. Love the triple setup too.

    Keep us posted.

This project was sold before it was finished. Chassis went one way and body another. Thanks for the replies...maybe soon I'll get another project and finially finish one.

NitroNova, the frame was a stock Model A with a '32 Crossmember up front. The rails were the stock width for a Model A. Wescott's has the frame dimensions on their site. Remember, this was a Coupe originally, so it's wider at the cowl than a Roadster.

GuitarGuy, the frame was boxed from the front crossmember, to about 6" behind the motor mounts. I had the material to fully box the frame, but never got to finish before selling the whole project.
