Looking good. I like the black and white. It makes it easier to look at the whole thing as one and appreciate the proportions etc.

Spent some time to rebolt some parts on the engine, intake, exhaust, ignition...and fired the engine, just for the motivation !

after that I will work again on the chassis, to finish some details and try to have soon a real rolling chassis.

    Thanks !

i don't know for the hood. I believe without hood, but I will maybe try with, but it's maybe too long to use a hood, maybe not good for the general stance & design. And with this exhaust and carbs, not easy...

I've really enjoyed watching your build. Very nice work.

Have you thought about using just a hood top (no sides)? Those carbs might look pretty cool poking up through it.

    sorry, no very interesting news.
After some long night thinking about it, I've decided to rebuilt the frame of the project, du to some bad weldings, lots of details to change, and some needed modifications, the best way is to rebuilt it to have something better at the end.
the frame is now built with open tube, so, crossmebers will be welded inside, like some some gussets, also welded nuts inside, following by boxing the all thing.
maybe a little longer, but the frame will be stronger, safer and lots of details improved.

Just found this thread, and I'm totally impressed. Great fabrication skills with a good eye for the modified stance.

Keep up the good work...truly inspiring.

Impressive build. Like Greaser I just found it and spent the last hour reading the whole thing. I visualize many of your ideas and solutions being used on a lot of vehicles in future HAMB members builds.

Looks really good! Can't wait to see the "finished" project! (That is, if a hot rod can truly be finished.)
