At last my motor got finished. It is a 1934 Ford "C" banger.Specs: Miller Schoefield OHV head, Chevy flat top pistons, Incerts in rods and mains,Protronic dist., Duel 81 strombergs,Neoprene rear main seal,Full pressure oiling system. This will be backed up with a 2004R trans and a Rodshop QC.This will go in a 29 Ford roadster on 32 rails, with skinny Firestones. My other car is a 40 Ford coupe(owned for 23 yrs.)The motor camed to life with 48 lbs. oil pressure and a roar, just like my daughter did(almost). 40BCOOL:D

A running banger is GREAT! What will it be going in? Old or repop head, not that it really matters.:D

Okay, here are the pics of Jim's new banger. Sorry it's taken me this long to post them on his behalf, but I've just spent the last hour wiping the drool off my keyboard :D This is one serious four-barrel and I am seriously jealous...

That Miller overhead looks great. What is the story with the frame rear kickup? Looks like a stock rear section mounted inboard, is it?:)
