That's what it is, at least as far as the trailer rental place is concerned. My pal Todd in the foreground doing ninja moves? Anyway, I think she's beautiful.
HA, did the same thing, except "mine" was a Civic. Nice to know that Japanese cars are good for something. Love the P-series trucks, and that's as nice of one as I've ever seen without having been restored. Congratulations! (Wonder how many people will open this thread with keyboards set to "flame", only to find.... )
I agree. Except for the size of the roof panel it would be an easy chop but getting just the right amount of chop on something like that is critical due to the small proportion of glass to body.
I will see her in the shop before I leave for Kansas!!! Congrats Paulie-- I wanna be in on the set up for sure!!!
dreddybear, Do you have more pictures of it, maybe the back and inside? I might have some history on that step van. Looks very close to one we sold to a lady in Texas a few years ago. The one we sold with was originaly from Bakersfield, CA. Joe
hahah, I have one of those in my back yard! It was an ice truck....I store tires in it...Have fun with that one......looks real solid.
Wow! Thats it! Cali title from Bakersfield, she never registered it. She did rebuild the brakes and suspension. But no engine. You can tell it was a Ca. desert truck not a spot of rust anywhere...
Wow, I thought it was the old truck we sold. The engine ran good when we had it but it needed clutch work. We bought it on ebay from a thrift store in Bakersfield. They, (and us) used it for storage. We think it was a bread truck back in the day. We did drive it a few times around our ranch. We sold it to a gal in Texas, she had a hell of a time finding a shipper to deliver it to her. She bought it to use for her band if I remember correctly. It has lots of potential, that's for sure. Good luck with it! Joe
I bought one of those at an auction for $50 a few years ago with a painted aluminum body. Always wanted to strip it to bare metal and polish it. Of course I sold it to a guy instead and he used it for storage.
