nice pad Ian...looks like you got some more room now and that driveway looks alot easier to get into...cant wait to see the chop on that 53'...
Hey Dirtbag, I'm with you on that one. WINTER ****S... but then again I couldn't afford a 2,500 sq foot home in CA. with three acres and a couple of out buildings
Awesome Ian! That place rocks! Finally got into my new place and am waiting on some relief from the rain to start on my building. I can't wait! Your pics are making it worse.
great looking place! i know how much having my own space has changed my life for the better. congratulations. looks like you are gonna do great things there.
Congrats Ian!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seeing that I'm a month late on this, you should be nice and settled it. Looks like a great place to call home.
Thanx so much for the kind words guys! I'm a lucky ****er! All this niceness is because of my wife's hard work and years of studying! I just happened to meet a great girl and she changed my life! I couldn't do what I do without her. I feel very grateful, and never will take it for granted! Today I built this really cool work bench, I'll post the pics in a bit! Thanx again guys!
Damn, I'm jealous of your homestead there. Great set-up for waging war on custom cars, livers, and sunburns.
hey brotha! congrats!! what a great feeling it is to buy your first house! my wife and i just experienced that a few years ago. congrats to you! now though you'll figure out what REAL work is! haha. those damn things always need something. stoked for ya!
That garage is a blank canvas. Best way to start out for sure. Wire it with lots of receptacles, 220 VAC for an air compressor, another for AC, pipe it for air, build shelves and work benches that won't get in the way of the floor jack handle, overhead support for engine hoist, I could go on and on. Best of all, have fun! You're gonna be living out there, make it work.
Thanx again for the kind words and great suggestions!!! Here's what i've been up too. I built a a work bench that fits prefect in the corner, yes my garage is a bit bigger now, but i still gotta make the best of the space. it's 65" x 24". i ran a pipe through the 1/4" top and that way i can mount the bead roller , a vise or whatever tool i need to. The top is welded all the way around , not really for strength but for sound and im gonna glue some thick rubber pads underneath for deadening. And yes, the welds arent pulse welded......One p***!! bead roller pipe that inserts real tight in the table , no play at all and it spins 360 degrees also finished the plumbing in the bathroom and mounted the light properly!! Now im ready to start on the 53 monday!!
HAHA!! It is a TECATE but no straw!!! I use the little clip to hold my smoke, it holds it real nice!!!
Congrats on the new place...I missed your first post also, Ian! Isn't it great movin into a new garage like that, but I'm sure it'll be filled up in no time!
