My New Gasser Project

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Creeper Larry, Dec 21, 2005.

  1. Just wanted to show off my latest addition to my car A.D.D. problem. This is the 55 that johnFordman had in the classifieds. He did all the hard work to get it this far,and then, from his car A.D.D., decided to sell it.I tried to talk myself outta it,but couldn't.I think he will be bummed when I pull up in front of his house and do a burnout!Unless I sell it before, but I hope I'm not that stupid!I have a mild 454 and a Powerglide that I'm gonna throw in it,and I have a set of fenderwell headers for it.Should be fun~

Just make sure you keep it longer then you did your roadster.;) You plan on having it on the road by next spring? I'll look forward to witnessing the big smokey burnout.

Great car! Make a tilt front out of it ala 2 lane black top! Ever since re-watching that movie a couple of weeks ago I can't stop thinking about a 55 gasser with a big block. Once you get it done you need to race a GTO to D.C. for pinks!:D

  17. I must have gone back to that FS add about 50 times.

If the car wasn't so far away, I would be the one putting a drivetrain in it.

Good luck with the car and make sure you show us the first big ass burnout.:D

You might wanna check the rear tire pressure, it looks a little low. And its a shame the car was missing the front bumper:D:D

Seriously, nice car man. Everybody likes a gasser!
