Still not totally up to speed,... I need to put new heat in the shop (Radiant Tube), and I am looking at a new hoist,..... but I have to sell a project or two first,.... still messy but my good ol Hot Rod pal's George and Al came over and we hung and wired the new cold weather lights,.

What a difference some light makes,... (It helped me find more stuff I have to fix ) anyway, I am slapping a Deuce Highboy together, my son Kory is working on his T Bucket,.... and the Buick is taking up waaaayyyy too much room, so it's going to go into cold storage in the "Barn" and I have another car to bring back to the shop.

On 7 Degree days, it gets ca-ca-ca-COLD in a block building, so until I get heat I am using my personal heating device,..... Carhart coveralls and Coffee,... the only problem is I don't know weather to drink it or pour it in my boots ! :D

I am having more fun than I should be allowed!,.... here are some crappy cell phone pictures,.....

  13. Harms,
I would love to meet you one of these days and come up and see the shop. When I get the '54 together this summer, Maybe Frank can lead a couple of us up there. Sounds like a perfect way to spend a day!

Eventually when FAB32 and I assume room temperature,... our wife's will have auctions,.... and the displacement our "junk" will cause the earth to spin out of its orbit,.... and Michigan will rise out of the great lakes ! :D

Could that place be any cooler ? The only way I would think so is if it were mine. KILLER score.

  17. Way cool and you deserve it. Let me know if you need any hand lettering, I would be glad to donate it to that fine old building.
    Congratulations again.

Harms Way;That is AWSOME!!! You could never find anything like that out here in California,it would have been flattened for new more "Modern" crap,or it would be in an area too rough to open any kind of KOOL shop.Good Luck with your prize!!! ROY.

That's awesome Harms Way!!! Our club has a pretty cool shop and that place is freezing!!! I don't even bother working there because it's so cold and prefer my shop at home since it's stays a little warmer but once the spring hits I am sure I'll be there all the time!!!

Congratulations on your new shop. It's funny how many have the same thoughts, there is an old single bay gas station that looks right out of the 30's not far from my house. I always thought it would be a cool shop, only problem with it is it is on a main highway and no room around it.

  25. Nice to see....somebody will restore it to it's former glory and that it's not being torn down for another townhouse development! :D

Keep us posted on your upgrades to this fine old building!

  26. First of all congrats that is awesome and would[IMG] be a dream come true for me also!!
Until then I just get to look at my pumps in my garage and drink beer,I would much rather have that station with these out front.
