Many thanks go to Manyolcars and BELLM for my latest project: a Cushman Highlander scooter! [IMG]

I can't wait to terrorize the neighborhood with 5hp of rolling thunder! The guy across the street with the OCC knock-off chopper is going to be SO jealous! [IMG]

There's a bunch of old guys around here who have Cushman Silver Eagles that are all stripped down, chromed, and hopped up. They have side shifters on them, bags with all the tassles, and sound like HD's. Fairly fast too. Here's a few of mine, no Cushmans. There's a couple that aren't in these few pics, a 1956 Lambretta 48 and a 1959 Vespa VBA.

Hmmm. Maybe I'll look for a front brake in addition to all of the other parts needed to put it back on the road. [IMG] I know some of the bigger, more expensive models had front and rear brakes. Parts are fairly interchangeable between models, so the swap should be easy. Certainly easy enough for the added safety. [IMG]

Reminds me of my favorite episode of Leave It To Beaver.

If I were you I'd shave .050 off the head. I'll never tell if you decide to do it. Call it an efficiency enhancement. [IMG] [IMG]
